We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Inspector to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a Site-based Mechanical Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of mechanical systems and components in our projects.
- Conduct thorough inspections of mechanical equipment, systems, and components on-site
- Verify compliance with engineering specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
- Identify and report defects, non-conformities, and potential issues in mechanical installations
- Perform quality control checks at various stages of project execution
- Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain accurate documentation
- Collaborate with project teams, engineers, and contractors to resolve technical issues
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations on-site
- Participate in project meetings and provide technical input as required
- Stay updated on industry standards, inspection techniques, and best practices
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in mechanical inspection, preferably in a site-based role for building projects
- Relevant certifications in mechanical inspection (e.g., CSWIP, API, ASNT)
- Proficiency in mechanical inspection techniques and tools
- In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems, components, and materials
- Strong understanding of quality control processes and industry standards
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in using inspection software and reporting tools
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience working in construction or industrial environments
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Willingness to work in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and adapt to hot climate conditions
- Physical fitness to perform on-site inspections and navigate construction environments
