We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Mechanical Inspector to join our site supervision team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting thorough mechanical inspections at various construction and industrial sites across the UAE, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Perform on-site mechanical inspections of equipment, systems, and components to ensure quality, safety, and compliance with specifications and standards.
- Conduct detailed inspections of mechanical installations, including piping, HVAC systems, and industrial machinery.
- Identify and document defects, non-conformities, and potential issues during inspections.
- Prepare comprehensive inspection reports and maintain accurate records of findings.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to address and resolve mechanical issues.
- Verify that corrective actions are implemented effectively and in a timely manner.
- Stay up-to-date with industry standards, regulations, and best practices in mechanical inspection.
- Participate in project meetings and provide technical expertise as needed
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and procedures during all on-site activities
Minimum of ten (7) years of experience in a similar role.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Solid knowledge of building construction, materials, systems, and industry trade practices.
Proficient in computer applications relevant to the role.
Ability to work independently and adapt to changing environments.
Excellent multitasking, prioritization, and project planning skills.
Experience coordinating with contractors and other stakeholders on-site.
Team-oriented, proactive, organized, and solutions-focused.
Effective in time and task management.
