Egis in Ireland is looking for an enthusiastic early career Marketing Executive to join our team - a team supporting some of the most significant infrastructure projects shaping the country’s future. We operate as One Team in marketing, designing and delivers marketing and communications campaigns across all of Egis’ services.
This is an exciting time to join us, following a reorganisation of the function across Europe, creating new specialities within marketing. You’ll benefit from direct contact with the European Marketing Director who is based in Ireland, while also interacting with a team which spans UK and Ireland. This is a varied role, the department interfaces with both the engineering and operations sides of the business across a number of our sites in Dublin and outside. You’ll have the chance to experience some autonomy, to move on your own projects while being supported by your team members.
You should be a self-starter with creative skills like writing and a visual eye for design, alongside a flexible approach to supporting a range of marketing campaigns and activities. We’re looking for a marketing executive to join our team, working with our marketing and communications managers, specialists in each of our key sectors: Transportation, Sustainable Resources and Cities, alongside our Marketing Director and Head of Marketing.
This is role will involve using some of the following skills to meet the responsibilities below:
- Supporting the production and delivery of marketing campaigns and events working with the team
- Working closely with suppliers involved in the design, and delivery our campaigns
- Ability to work independently following direction within a supportive structure and process
- Ability to create content for print, web and social media; strong writing skills and design sense
- Understanding and ensuring the consistent application of our brand guidelines and templates
- Connecting with colleagues across other departments, building relationships across the company
- Digital marketing support, knowledge of key trends in digital marketing an advantage.
- Contribute information to marketing campaign planning
- Carry out routine marketing tasks and supporting reporting on our progress against KPIs
- Support on internal communications; e newsletters, internal posters, events
- Helping the wider organisation with use of our brand
Essential
- Degree in Marketing/Business or allied disciplines.
- Experience in executing marketing campaigns on social media, web, print, broadcast, or events and brand experiences
- 1-2 years experience in a Marketing executive role or similar
- Support on development press releases and liaise with internal technical subject matter experts to gather content
- An interest in marketing and communications, and how brands work is essential.
Desirable
- Experience with the following platform would be a plus: Umbraco, Canva, Hubspot.
- Masters degree would be an advantage but not essential
- Marketing Experience within the Engineering/Construction sector, or B2B professional services marketing would be an advantage but not essential
- Experience with videography and editing platforms would be a plus
- Full Clean Driver’s License & access to a car an advantage.
