About the Role

With our Hong Kong studio continuing to grow and winning exciting new projects internationally, we are now seeking an experienced Lighting Designer to join our collaborative and forward‑thinking team.
The Opportunity
This role offers the chance to work on prestigious, large‑scale architectural projects, collaborating closely with some of the region’s most respected architects and interior designers. You will be involved from early concept through to final installation, shaping the visual and emotional impact of spaces through intelligent, sustainable lighting design.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Develop lighting design concepts through to detailed documentation and site installation
- Collaborate with architects, interior designers, clients, and internal specialists throughout the design process
- Produce high‑quality deliverables including sketches, layouts, specifications, renderings, and technical drawings
- Provide expert lighting design advice and recommendations to clients
- Review supplier and contractor proposals, including fixtures, fittings, and circuitry layouts
- Attend site inspections to review installation quality and resolve design issues
- Support the broader project team with technical and design input across multiple projects
What do we need from you
Qualifications & Experience
- Higher Diploma or above in Electrical Engineering, Interior Design, or a related discipline
- Experience as a Lighting Designer or Consultant on large‑scale architectural projects
- Ability to independently manage lighting design across all project stages
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Technical Skills
- Solid understanding of lighting systems, controls, and energy‑efficient solutions
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, DIALux, Photoshop, InDesign, and MS Office
- Experience with 3D and rendering software such as Revit, Rhino, Enscape, Lumion, or D5 is highly regarded
