We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Lead Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team in Doha, Qatar. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing complex systems engineering projects, leading a team of talented engineers, and driving technological advancements in our industry.
- Manage and coordinate all aspects of systems engineering projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of cutting-edge systems and solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements, architecture, and integration strategies
- Conduct thorough system analysis, identifying potential issues and implementing effective solutions
- Oversee the entire systems engineering lifecycle, from concept to deployment and maintenance
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system specifications, design documents, and test plans
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
- Evaluate and implement new technologies and methodologies to enhance system performance and efficiency
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in systems engineering
- Present regular progress reports and technical recommendations to senior management
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
- Minimum of 8 years of post-qualification experience in systems engineering, with a proven track record of successful project delivery
- Strong knowledge of systems engineering principles, methodologies, and best practices
- Proficiency in systems integration, lifecycle management, and requirements analysis
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, in English
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Outlook)
- Experience with systems modeling tools and techniques
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations relevant to systems engineering
- Willingness to travel occasionally for project-related purposes
- Adaptability to work in a multicultural environment in Doha, Qatar
