Role Overview:
We are seeking a Lead ELV Engineer specializing in Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems for industrial and utility buildings in high-demand sectors such as Container Terminals, Shipyards, and Aviation Bases. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in designing, implementing, and managing ELV systems, including security, communication, and control systems, tailored to industrial environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design and development of ELV systems, including CCTV, access control, public address, fire alarm, and telecommunication systems for industrial and utility facilities.
Create detailed ELV system layouts, schematics, and specifications that meet client requirements and industry standards.
Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, and architectural teams to ensure that ELV systems are seamlessly integrated into the overall facility design.
Perform load calculations, risk assessments, and failure mode analyses to ensure the safety and reliability of ELV systems.
Supervise and inspect on-site installation and testing of ELV systems to ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards.
Stay updated with emerging technologies in ELV systems to enhance project outcomes and efficiency.
Experience and Qualifications:
Experience: 14-15 years in ELV engineering, preferably in industrial settings such as Container Terminals, Shipyards, or Aviation Bases.
Education: M.Tech/B.Tech in Instrumentation & Telecommunication or a related field.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in software like AutoCAD, Revit, and specialized ELV design tools; familiarity with network protocols and integration software for ELV systems.
Soft Skills: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
