Role Overview

We are looking for a Lead Electrical Engineer experienced in designing and managing electrical systems for high-demand industrial facilities, particularly in sectors such as High Speed Rail Stations, GIS Substations. The role requires in-depth knowledge of electrical systems for utility and service buildings, ensuring reliable and safe power distribution in industrial environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Rail Station experience
• Prepare/review designs for EHV/HV/MV/LV, street lighting, area lighting, and power distribution.
• Perform/verify studies (load flow, short circuit, protection coordination) and design calculations.
• Develop design basis, specs, datasheets, MTO/BOQ inputs; lead vendor technical bid analysis.
• Lead design team; manage interfaces with civil/MEP/ELV/ICT and client approvals.
• Ensure compliance with HSE and international standards (IEC/IEEE).

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s/master’s in electrical engineering.
• 18–20 years in electrical design for infrastructure/stations/tunnels/mega projects.
• ETAP mandatory; strong lighting design knowledge; Middle East codes preferred.
• DEWA & ADDC experience
• Proven leadership of multi-disciplinary design teams and approvals processes.

Software

ETAP, Dialux/AGI/Amtech, AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks; ACC/ProjectWise preferred.
