We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Land Surveyor to join our team for a major port project in Kuwait. As a key member of our construction management and supervision team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate land measurements and data collection throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct precise land surveys and topographic mapping for the port project site
- Utilize advanced surveying equipment, GPS, and GIS systems to collect and analyze data
- Prepare detailed survey reports, maps, and plans using AutoCAD and other relevant software
- Collaborate with construction managers and engineers to ensure project specifications are met
- Supervise and coordinate survey teams on-site
- Monitor construction progress and verify adherence to survey data and project plans
- Identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to land surveying
- Ensure compliance with local and international surveying standards and regulations
- Maintain accurate records of all survey activities and findings
- Provide technical guidance and support to the construction team as needed
- Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Geomatics, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in land surveying, preferably in port or marine projects
- Proven experience in construction management and supervision
- Proficiency in using modern surveying equipment and techniques
- Expert knowledge of GPS and GIS systems
- Advanced skills in AutoCAD and other relevant surveying software
- Strong mathematical and analytical abilities
- Good communication and reporting skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and lead survey crews
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
