About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lab Technician to join our team in Kuwait. In this role, you will oversee laboratory operations, ensure compliance with safety protocols, and lead a team of technicians to maintain the highest standards of quality and efficiency in our state-of-the-art facility.
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of laboratory technicians
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements
- Oversee the operation and maintenance of laboratory equipment
- Implement and maintain quality control procedures
- Analyze and interpret data, preparing comprehensive reports for management
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize laboratory processes
- Train and mentor junior laboratory staff
- Manage inventory and coordinate the procurement of supplies and equipment
- Troubleshoot technical issues and implement solutions
- Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements
What do we need from you
- Diploma in Chemistry, Biology, or a related scientific field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience as a lab technician, with demonstrated supervisory experience
- Proficiency in operating and maintaining various laboratory equipment
- Strong knowledge of quality control procedures and data analysis techniques
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Thorough understanding of safety protocols and relevant regulatory requirements (e.g., OSHA)
- Familiarity with laboratory best practices and industry standards
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in using laboratory information management systems (LIMS) and Microsoft Office suite
