About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on Systems Engineer to join our growing team on a Light Rail Transit (LRT) project. This is an ideal role for a technically minded engineer with around 3–5 years of experience, who enjoys producing detailed designs, managing technical interfaces, and supporting on-site activities during Testing & Commissioning (T&C).

You will work alongside senior engineers and systems integrators to help deliver robust, integrated rail systems — with a strong focus on design delivery, interface coordination, and field implementation support.

Duties & Responsibilities

Systems Engineering & Design Delivery

  • Prepare and review technical documentation including interface control documents, design drawings, specifications, and system-level reports.
  • Contribute to multidisciplinary system designs with guidance from senior engineers.
  • Support requirements traceability, design verification activities, and integration planning.
  • Assist with configuration and change management tasks.

Interface Coordination

  • Identify and document technical interfaces between key rail systems (e.g. Signalling, SCADA, Communications, Rolling Stock, Power, Track, Depot Equipment).
  • Assist in resolving interface issues in coordination with internal teams, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • Support interface control meetings and workshops to maintain alignment between disciplines.

Testing & Commissioning Support

  • Provide on-site support during T&C phases, assisting with test preparation, execution, and troubleshooting.
  • Participate in system-level tests, including static and dynamic integration testing.
  • Work with client and contractor teams to resolve day-to-day technical challenges during commissioning.

Project Collaboration

  • Collaborate with systems integrators, designers, and delivery teams to support the implementation of rail systems.
  • Attend coordination meetings and contribute to design and commissioning discussions.
  • Provide technical input into RAMS, safety, and cybersecurity efforts, where relevant.
