About the Role

We are seeking a talented and motivated Junior Landscape Architect to join our team in Riyadh. As a junior member of our landscape architecture team, you will contribute to the design and development of innovative and sustainable outdoor spaces that enhance the urban environment of Saudi Arabia.

  • Maintain organized project files and documentation
  • Assist in the creation of landscape design concepts and plans using CAD software
  • Collaborate with senior architects and project managers on various landscape projects
  • Conduct site analyses and prepare site inventory reports
  • Develop planting plans and material palettes suitable for local environmental conditions
  • Participate in client meetings and presentations to communicate design ideas
  • Assist in the preparation of construction documents and specifications
  • Support the team in ensuring compliance with local KSA regulations and sustainability standards
  • Contribute to the development of project proposals and cost estimates
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful integration of landscape designs with other project components.
  • Timely execution of design reviews
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, environmental specialists
  • Supports in presentations
  • Implement quality assurance processes for landscape designs to maintain consistency

What do we need from you

  • 0-2 years of experience in landscape architecture or a related field
  • Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field
  • Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD and SketchUp
  • Strong understanding of landscape design principles and practices
  • Knowledge of local flora and environmental conditions in Saudi Arabia
  • Familiarity with Saudi Arabian landscape and urban planning regulations
  • Basic project management and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Understanding of sustainable design practices
  • Saudi national status is required
  • Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) registration is preferred
  • Collaboration and coordination with multidisciplinary teams to integrate landscape elements with architectural and engineering designs
  • Strong proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.).
  • Good Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera, Excel)
  • Strong skills in GIS and CAD software. Hands on with Primavera P6 and excel to monitor and control the projects progress and reporting
  • Comprehensive understanding of sustainable design principles
  • Support to weekly and monthly reports and presentations
  • Familiarity with Middle Eastern landscape and urban planning practices
  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a multicultural environment
  • Self-Motivated, Excellent team player and thinking outside of the box
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills in English.
