We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Junior HSE Officer to join our team in Doha, Qatar. As a key member of our Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) department, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and compliant work environment for our employees and stakeholders.
- Assist in implementing and maintaining HSE policies, procedures, and programs
- Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments across various work sites
- Support the development and delivery of HSE training programs for employees
- Monitor compliance with local and international HSE regulations and standards
- Participate in incident investigations and help develop corrective action plans
- Maintain accurate HSE records and prepare reports for management review
- Collaborate with other departments to promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility
- Assist in emergency response planning and drills
- 0-2 years of experience in HSE or a related field
- NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent HSE certification (preferred)
- Ability to conduct thorough risk assessments and safety audits
- Basic incident investigation skills
- Understanding of workplace safety practices and environmental protection measures
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Willingness to work in various environments, including office and field settings
