About the Role

The IT Manager is responsible for maintaining the performance, security, and continuity of the company’s IT services.

The position’s holder can’t be successful without complying with the relevant procedures, directives, and other legal requirements of the Quality Management System, fulfilling the accountabilities of this position in accordance with corporate policies, Code of Conduct and Code of Ethics Standards.

The main responsibilities are:

  •  Defining Strategy and Maintenance of IT Systems: the IT Manager is responsible for defining and deploying the IT strategy and policies to achieve the company's performance objectives. This includes ensuring the operational functionality and security of IT systems, gathering user needs, and managing technological advancements.
  •  Coordinating Projects: the IT Manager leads projects related to software acquisitions, IT services, and hardware. He manages, coordinates, and animates cross-functional IT projects in collaboration with other departments. This role also involves establishing and managing outsourcing contracts and ensuring budgetary control for IT policy deployment.
  • Market Analysis and Information Monitoring: The IT Manager conducts legal, technological, and functional monitoring of IT markets and products. He anticipates and plans changes by advising management and develops tools and methods to ensure the reliability, security, confidentiality, and integrity of information systems. Additionally, he defines and implements processes and procedures to optimize IT flow organization within the company 

What do we need from you

Bachelor Degree

  • Fluent in Arabic and English,
  • Technical Architecture Management: the IT Manager should coordinate a vision of the IT architecture in the medium term and act as a domain expert (analysing the needs, anticipating various technical architecture scenarios, and leading the deployment).
  • Risk Analysis and Management: the IT Manager must provide meaning to measures and support internal/external actors involved in risk management. This includes updating the risk reference framework, analysing potential impacts, and managing resources in response to risks.
  • Project Management: the IT Manager is expected to lead one or more project phases and teams, ensuring the functioning and interaction between different systems.
  • Budget Management: synthesizing a budget, anticipating margins of error, and manoeuvring are essential skills. The Director needs to define, adapt, and monitor the budget throughout the project phases.
  • Communication: synthesizing presentations adapted to objectives and target audiences is crucial. This involves active listening, expressing and formalizing viewpoints clearly, and sharing information effectively.
  • Team Leadership: accompanying the skills development and retention of team members is vital.
  • Software Integration: the IT Manager should be able to configure business software and interface it with other applications, identifying and defining data exchange rules and standards.
