We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Administrator to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As an IT Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability of our systems.
- Administer and maintain computer networks and related computing environments, including hardware, systems software, applications, and configurations
- Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, and network problems
- Install, configure, and maintain various software and hardware components
- Implement and manage IT security measures, including firewalls, anti-virus software, and access controls
- Monitor system performance and implement performance tuning measures
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights
- Develop and maintain IT policies and procedures
- Provide technical support and training to end-users
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new technologies and improve existing systems
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions
- Proven experience as an IT Administrator or similar role
- Strong knowledge of computer networks, network administration, and network installation
- Expertise in Windows and Linux operating systems
- Knowledge of IT security best practices, including data encryption, access controls, and firewall configuration
- Experience with backup and recovery solutions
- Understanding of IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL)
- Hands-on experience with IT asset management and inventory control
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Willingness to work flexible hours when required
