We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Interface Manager to join our dynamic team specializing in railway systems. As the Interface Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the preparation, coordination, and conclusion of the overall System Engineering, System Interface, and activities according to the contract and relevant rules and guidelines, and execution of the Project, the Tainan Monorail Blue Line. The overall objective is that all systems parameters and civil work's coordination are met, and the basic design of the system is overall functional as per the technical specification, customer’s needs, and internationally applied engineering rules.
Egis will provide design services related to Railway Systems and you will assist onshore in delivering the Project successfully both on coordination aspects and technical aspects.
- Project Support: Provide assistance and act as the point of contact for interfacing matters between partner/client with back-office team for all technical matters. Performs an administrative role facilitating and coordinating the civil engineering works with the rail systems works.
- Technical Analysis: Conduct technical analysis and evaluations to assess the performance and reliability of railway systems, including signaling, Rolling Stock, electrification, communication systems, platform screen doors, operation control system and track switches. Assist the E&M system in finding interface solution.
- Documentation: Assist in the preparation and review of project documentation, including engineering drawings, specifications, reports, and proposals.
- Coordination: Lead coordination multidisciplinary coordination activities with the internal and external project teams, including engineers, technicians, and public authorities, to ensure project objectives are met on time.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols in all project activities.
- Risk Management: Identify potential interface risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project delays and cost overruns.
- Client Liaison: Maintain regular communication with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities to address project technical requirements and resolve issues effectively.
- Training and Development: Continuously update technical knowledge and skills through training programs and professional development opportunities.
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
- Master's degree is a plus.
- Holder of a Taiwan PE License preferably in electrical engineering however civil engineering, environment engineering, geotechnical engineering, structure engineering can also be considered
- 5 years of experience in design of railway system projects (Taiwan and Monorail experience is an advantage).
- Experience in technical engineering and interface management as well as professional experience in requirements management including verification and validation, RAM, Safety, operational aspects, EMC, earthing and bonding, test & commissioning etc
- Good knowledge of railway systems, technologies and related civil interfaces
- Technical knowledge of civil engineering construction and requirements pertaining to rail systems work Knowledge of engineering processes and standards associated with this, e.g., EN 50126, EN50128, EN50129.
