Egis is responsible for on-site inspection of structures (Non Destructive) are conducted from below, from inside and from above the viaduct.
The components inspected from below are pile caps (where visible), columns, pier caps, portal, beams, noise barriers and the viaduct spans visible from below with the aid of binoculars.
The components inspected from inside are pier segments, typical segments, deviation blocks, post tensioning tendons, tendon anchors, movement joints, link slabs, drains, top of pier caps, seismic buffers, bearings and bearing plinths.
The components inspected from above the viaduct are noise barriers, segment joints, waterproofing system, expansion joints, rail plinths, cable troughs and drains.
Egis is doing:
- Production of Inspection and Maintenance Manual
- Preliminary Inspections
- Periodic inspections
- Special inspections
- Maintenance Database
- Advance Maintenance Database using BIM/GIS
- Daily, Weekly, Final Reports
- Preparing Production of Inspection and Maintenance Manual;
- Undertaking Inspections (preliminary, periodic and special);
- Implementing Database;
- Prepare and deliver the report to the Senior Inspector for validation.
- Passionate about growing customer relationships by creating an attention-to-detail culture centered on mistake proofing critical processes and designs.
- Relevant Bachelor`s degree is preferred in Engineering, Science, Project/ structure and Bridges or related field. (required), Master’s degree (advantage).
- Strong proven experience in Bridge design and/or inspection for bridges or viaducts.
- Demonstrated experience with Inspection and design controls, design verification and validation activities, process controls, construction or start-up activities, and risk management.
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Must maintain outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to motivate a large employee community. Must have led diverse teams made up of multi-functional professionals to realize agreed upon goals and objectives.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Project Quality Management System.
- Proven data analysis, data verification, and problem-solving abilities. Experience with statistical reporting and analysis. Demonstrated ability to apply data driven decisions to execute sound business acumen.
- Ability to interact effectively and professionally at all levels of the organization (e.g., executives, managers, subject matter experts, peers, and support staff).
- Membership of an industry related professional body would be advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and lead process implementation and improvement in a team environment. .
- Strong organizational and leadership skills. Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, lead, and monitor a wide variety of team efforts to their successful conclusion. Excellent coaching, listening, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven demonstration of cross functional knowledge, through practical engagement, across a project’s life cycle. Must have the aptitude to devise and implement change strategies.
