About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HVAC Supervisor to join our Roads Operations and Maintenance team in Doha, Qatar. As the HVAC Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems in road infrastructure projects. This role requires a strong technical background, leadership skills, and the ability to ensure optimal performance of HVAC systems in challenging environments.
- Supervise and coordinate HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair activities for road infrastructure projects
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for HVAC systems
- Conduct regular inspections of HVAC equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency
- Troubleshoot complex HVAC issues and provide technical solutions
- Manage and train a team of HVAC technicians, assigning tasks and evaluating performance
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures in all HVAC-related activities
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate HVAC systems with overall road operations and maintenance plans
- Prepare and maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to HVAC systems and maintenance activities
- Manage inventory of HVAC parts and equipment, ensuring adequate supplies for maintenance and repairs
- Stay updated on the latest HVAC technologies and best practices in road infrastructure applications
What do we need from you
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC systems, preferably in road infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, maintenance, and repair techniques
- Familiarity with road operations and maintenance procedures
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Proficiency in HVAC design and maintenance software
- In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to HVAC systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working in the Middle East region is a plus
- Professional certifications, such as Certified HVAC Supervisor, are highly desirable
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to emergency situations when necessary
