- Deliver stress and flexibility analysis calculations for HVAC ducts and supports, considering applicable load cases and external loads provided by others.
- Provide feedback from calculation to CAD Designers to update the 3D model.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assigned by the HVAC Stress Lead Engineer
- Coordinate with the 3D Team
- Manage own workload
- Master project methodology, procedures, codes (EN 13480), and standards
- Assess needed calculation input data
- Assess calculation results
- Ensure QC for compliance with nuclear projects
- Use 3D models (Navisworks)
- Liaise with other engineers and CAD designers when required
Education/Qualifications:
- Degree in Structural Engineering or equivalent
- Experience in HVAC ducts calculation (STAAD Pro or equivalent)
- Experience in supports calculation (STAAD Pro or equivalent)
Experience:
- 5+ years in stress calculation
- Involvement in nuclear projects is a bonus
