We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical HSE Inspector to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a crucial member of our Health, Safety, and Environment department, you will play a vital role in ensuring compliance with HSE regulations and maintaining a safe work environment across our projects.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to assess compliance with HSE regulations and company policies
- Identify potential hazards and ensure appropriate corrective actions are implemented
- Monitor project activities to ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards
- Review and evaluate safety plans and risk assessments for various projects
- Provide HSE training and awareness sessions to staff and subcontractors, promoting a strong safety culture
- Develop and distribute educational materials on HSE best practices
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and recommend preventive measures
- Prepare detailed reports on findings and corrective actions
- Liaise with regulatory agencies and ensure all necessary permits and licenses are obtained
- Stay updated on changes in HSE legislation and implement necessary adjustments to company policies
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, incidents, and training activities
- Prepare and submit regular HSE reports to management and relevant stakeholders
- Assist in developing and implementing risk management strategies for projects
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of safety programs and initiatives
- Support the development and implementation of emergency response plans
- Conduct drills and training exercises to ensure emergency preparedness
- Saudi nationality is required for this position
- Bachelor's degree
- Relevant HSE certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HSE roles within building, road, industrial, or infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of local and international HSE regulations and standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated leadership abilities
- Capability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Fluency in Arabic and English (both written and spoken)
- Valid Saudi driver's license
- Willingness to travel within Saudi Arabia for site inspections
- Proficiency in using computer software for report writing and data analysis
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
