About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical HSE Inspector to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As an HSE Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations across our projects and operations.

  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to assess compliance with HSE regulations and company policies
  • Identify potential hazards and ensure appropriate corrective actions are implemented
  • Monitor project activities to ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards
  • Review and evaluate safety plans and risk assessments for various projects
  • Provide HSE training and awareness sessions to staff and subcontractors, promoting a strong safety culture
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses to determine root causes and recommend preventive measures
  • Prepare detailed reports on findings, corrective actions, and HSE performance metrics
  • Liaise with regulatory agencies and ensure all necessary permits and licenses are obtained and maintained
  • Stay updated on changes in HSE legislation and implement necessary adjustments to company policies
  • Assist in the development and implementation of risk management strategies for projects
  • Support the creation and execution of emergency response plans, including conducting drills and training exercises
  • Collaborate with project managers and team leaders to integrate HSE practices into all aspects of operations

What do we need from you

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (construction, civil, or related field)
  • Relevant HSE certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in HSE roles within building, road, industrial, or infrastructure projects
  • Comprehensive knowledge of local Saudi Arabian and international HSE regulations and standards
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey HSE concepts to diverse audiences
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to influence safety culture across all levels of an organization
  • Proficiency in HSE management software and data analysis tools
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Familiarity with Saudi Arabian labor laws and cultural sensitivity
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
