About the Role

  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to assess compliance with HSE regulations and company policies.
  • Identify potential hazards and ensure appropriate corrective actions are taken.
  • Monitor project activities to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Review safety plans and risk assessments for various projects.
  • Provide HSE training and awareness sessions for staff and subcontractors to promote a safety culture.
  • Develop and distribute HSE educational materials.
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to identify root causes and recommend preventive measures.
  • Prepare detailed reports on findings and corrective actions.
  • Liaise with regulatory agencies and ensure that all necessary permits and licenses are obtained.
  • Stay updated on changes in HSE legislation and implement necessary adjustments in company policies.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, incidents, and training activities.
  • Prepare and submit regular HSE reports to management and relevant stakeholders.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of risk management strategies for projects.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of safety programs and initiatives.
  • Support the development and implementation of emergency response plans.
  • Conduct drills and training exercises to ensure preparedness.

What do we need from you

  • Bachelor of Engineering in construction, civil or rlated field
  • Relevant HSE certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA).
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in HSE roles within building, road, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
  • Strong knowledge of local and international HSE regulations and standards.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
