    About the Role

    We're looking for a detail-oriented and professional HSE Engineer/Specialist to join our organization in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As an HSE Engineer or Specialist, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive health, safety, and environmental programs that comply with Saudi Arabia's regulatory requirements and international standards. This role is open exclusively to Saudi nationals and offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on workplace safety and environmental stewardship.

    • Develop, implement, and monitor health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures in compliance with Saudi Arabia's labor regulations and international HSE standards (ISO 45001, OSHA guidelines)
    • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and hazard analyses to identify potential workplace dangers and recommend mitigation strategies
    • Investigate workplace incidents and accidents, document findings, and implement corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence
    • Perform regular safety audits and inspections to ensure organizational compliance with applicable regulations and internal standards
    • Prepare and maintain detailed HSE documentation, records, and reports for regulatory submissions and internal review
    • Develop and deliver safety training programs to employees at all organizational levels to promote a strong safety culture
    • Collaborate with department managers and operational teams to integrate HSE best practices into daily work activities
    • Monitor and analyze safety performance metrics and key performance indicators to identify trends and areas for improvement
    • Coordinate emergency response procedures and conduct drills to ensure organizational preparedness
    • Stay current with changes in Saudi Arabia's HSE regulations and industry standards to ensure ongoing compliance

    What do we need from you

    • Proven experience as an HSE Engineer or in a similar occupational health and safety management role 8-10 years of experience is essential. 
    • HSE, engineering, or any bachelor degree related to the field. 
    • In-depth knowledge of Saudi Arabia's labor laws, HSE regulations, and compliance requirements
    • Strong understanding of international HSE standards and frameworks (ISO 45001, OSHA, or equivalent)
    • Demonstrated expertise in risk assessment, hazard analysis, and incident investigation methodologies
    • Proficiency in developing and implementing safety management systems and programs
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify safety risks and develop practical solutions
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple HSE initiatives simultaneously
    • Proficiency with HSE management software and Microsoft Office applications
    • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and communicate safety concepts effectively
    • Preferred experience in industrial, manufacturing, oil and gas, or construction sectors
    • Preferred knowledge of environmental management systems and sustainability practices
    • Saudi national status (required)
