We are seeking a highly qualified HSE Engineer to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental compliance of our projects and operations.
- Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive project safety plans across multiple job sites
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify and mitigate potential safety hazards
- Advise and assist senior construction site representatives in establishing and managing job site safety programs
- Lead accident investigations, prepare detailed reports, and recommend corrective actions
- Design and deliver comprehensive safety training programs for all workers, covering site hazards, safe work procedures, and emergency response protocols
- Promote a strong safety culture by actively encouraging safe work practices and recognizing exemplary safety behaviors
- Monitor workplace health conditions and implement health and hygiene programs to address any concerns
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date HSE documentation, ensuring compliance with company policies and local regulations
- Represent the company during safety inspections by regulatory authorities or insurance carriers
- Collaborate with project teams to integrate safety considerations into all aspects of construction operations
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably with a focus on Health, Safety, and Environment
- Minimum of 4 years of related work experience in Health and Safety, particularly in construction or industrial settings
- Certification from a recognized Safety, Health, or Environmental body (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH)
- In-depth knowledge of Saudi Arabian HSE regulations and standards
- Fluency in both Arabic and English (bilingual proficiency required)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable safety measures
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization
- Proficiency in using HSE management software and data analysis tools
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Innovative approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement of safety processes
- Saudi national status is required for this position
