About the Role

Reporting to the People Operations Team Leader, the HR Coordinator will undertake a variety of HR administrative duties, working autonomously and efficiently, to ensure the end-to-end running of People Operations.


This is a full time role working within the People Operations Team.  The role is based at our London site (5 minutes from Waterloo station) with an expectation of a minimum of 3 days on site.
 

The successful candidate will be expected to be flexible with their working arrangements.

 

Key Accountabilities

  • Respond to internal and external HR related enquiries or requests and provide assistance where appropriate.
  • Maintain and update employee records and provide HR metrics
  • Draft relevant new start paperwork including offer letters and employment contracts
  • Assist with obtaining relevant pre-employment checks, onboarding, and update records with new hires.
  • Support Induction processes for new starters
  • Support the delivery of the ongoing regular HR activities e.g. workforce planning, salary reviews, performance excellence, well-being and engagement.
  • Generate regular reports utilising HR data and analytics
  • Provide payroll and pensions data from payroll reporting
  • Benefits administration for healthcare systems
  • Support UK corporate induction
  • Maintenance of new starters list for Genius page
  • Maintenance of library of HR policies, flow charts and template letters
  • Support L&D co-ordination and bookings for internal events only
  • Event co-ordination for HR and Shared Services teams eg, careers fairs, graduate programme
  • Collaboratively work with the wider HR Teams to support the roll out of HR initiatives

What do we need from you

Skills & Expertise:

  • Generalist HR experience
  • Up to date working knowledge of employment legislation and best practice
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure
  • A team player with the willingness to deliver an efficient HR service
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proven experience in relationship building with key stakeholders
  • CIPD certification or working towards this
  • Proven experience in an HR Administrator or HR Coordinator position
  • Experience with HR databases and systems - Oracle preferable but not essential
  • Understanding of Employment Law to support Employee Relations activity

  • Act with substantial discretion and professionalism, ensuring confidentiality is maintained at all times.
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office packages.
