The M25 is one of our Flagship projects in the UK! It is the most used part of the UK Strategic Road Network with it seeing over 200,000 vehicles per day and it’s a critical infrastructure asset for personal and goods vehicles into and around our capital. The network includes around 800 structures and 5 tunnels, so it requires high levels of performance, constant improvement and repairs to keep it operating smoothly.
We’ve formed a Joint Venture project called Connect Plus Services (CPS) to work with our partners to widen, operate and maintain the M25 under a 30-year contract and we are looking for a HR Administrator to support the human resources department in managing and maintaining employee-related records and processes.
This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of the HR department and supporting the overall organisational goals by maintaining accurate records and facilitating effective HR processes.
Key accountabilities:
- Respond to internal and external HR related queries or requests.
- Redirect HR related calls/correspondence to the appropriate person within the HR team.
- Maintain database of employee records
- Consult with all 3 parent company employee services to obtain information and support the team.
- Assist with new employee onboarding process.
- Maintain HR inbox, dealing and responding to requests in a timely manner.
- Ensure all sickness forms and return to work are filed on employees’ records.
- Collect HR metrics for monthly reports.
- Run ad hoc reports for team members.
Skills required:
- Competent general IT skills
- Ability to multitask and respond to crucial requests
- Experience of working within an administrative, support role within a team environment
- Ability to remain calm and focussed on challenging situations
