We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Engineer - MEP to join our dynamic team in Kuwait. As a recent graduate, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects, gaining hands-on experience in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems for various construction and building projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers to meet project deadlines and objectives
- Monitor construction activities, ensuring alignment with engineering designs, shop drawings, schedules, and specifications.
- Contribute to the preparation of technical reports and documentation
- Monitor the daily resources (materials, equipment, manpower) and ensure the efficiency for the work requirements.
- Monitor the implementation of safety precautionary measures.
- Track milestones and site activities and address delays through proactive problem-solving.
- Coordinate & liaise between client, architect, contractor, and Project manager.
- Participate in and organize site meetings and presentations.
- Immediately report incidents or accidents to the Project Manager.
- Prepare updated progress reports about site activities progress for the Project Manager.
- Create and modify CAD drawings using industry-standard software
- Perform basic engineering calculations and analysis for MEP systems.
- Stay updated on local building codes and regulations in Kuwait
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD software
- Familiarity with Building Information Modeling (BIM) software, such as Revit
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Basic understanding of MEP systems and building codes
- Knowledge of HVAC, electrical distribution, and plumbing systems
- Familiarity with Kuwait-specific building regulations (preferred)
- Internships or co-op experiences in MEP design or related fields (preferred)
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and industry standards
