Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and development of electrical systems for water and wastewater treatment plants, pumping stations, and energy infrastructure projects.
- Contribute to energy audits, helping clients identify opportunities for energy optimisation and decarbonisation.
- Work on renewable energy integration projects, including solar PV, wind, and hybrid power systems.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams – including civil, process, and mechanical engineers – to ensure fully coordinated and sustainable designs.
Support the preparation of reports, drawings, and specifications in line with Egis quality, safety, and environmental standards
- Hold an honours degree (level 8 in the National Framework of Qualifications), or equivalent professional qualification Electrical Engineering
- Strong teamwork, written and verbal communication, and stakeholder management abilities; comfortable interfacing with multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and safety.
- Understanding of electrical distribution systems, control and instrumentation used in water/wastewater and energy infrastructure.
- Awareness of renewable energy technologies.
Familiarity with design and modelling software like ProDesign, PVSol, AutoCAD, and or similar design tools.
