About the Role

We are seeking a Graduate Civil Engineer specialising in Wet Utilities to join our dynamic engineering team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to launch their career in wet utilities engineering, working on innovative infrastructure projects that serve the community. As a Graduate Civil Engineer, you will contribute to the design, development, and implementation of water supply, sewage, and drainage systems whilst developing your technical expertise under the mentorship of experienced professionals.

  • Assist in the design and development of wet utilities systems, including water supply networks, sewage treatment facilities, and drainage infrastructure
  • Collaborate with senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams on project planning, execution, and delivery
  • Prepare detailed technical drawings, specifications, and design documentation using AutoCAD and related design software
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to gather field data, monitor project progress, and ensure compliance with design standards
  • Perform hydraulic calculations, hydrological analysis, and engineering assessments related to wet utilities systems
  • Support the preparation of comprehensive technical reports, feasibility studies, proposals, and project documentation
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of project methodologies and process improvements
  • Stay abreast of current UAE water regulations, industry standards, and best practices in wet utilities engineering
  • Participate actively in team meetings, sharing insights and collaborating on solutions to technical challenges
  • Maintain accurate project records and documentation in accordance with organisational procedures

What do we need from you

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline
  • Strong academic foundation in wet utilities systems, hydraulics, hydrology, and engineering principles
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD or equivalent computer-aided design (CAD) software
  • Competency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities with strong attention to detail
  • Outstanding organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Proficient communication skills in both written and spoken English
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within team environments and contribute constructively
  • Familiarity with site investigation, survey methodologies, and field data collection techniques
  • Understanding of project management fundamentals and basic construction methodologies
  • Health and Safety awareness in construction and engineering environments
  • Knowledge of UAE water regulations, standards, and local engineering codes (desirable)
  • Practical experience through internships or academic projects in wet utilities engineering (desirable)
  • **Must be an Emirati national with a valid Family Book**
