About the Role
We are seeking a skilled GIS Engineer specializing in Roads Operations and Maintenance (O&M) to join our team in Doha, Qatar. In this role, you will lead the development and implementation of advanced GIS solutions to support the management and maintenance of road networks in the region.
- Design and implement GIS-based solutions for road network analysis, asset management, and maintenance planning
- Develop and maintain spatial databases for road infrastructure and related assets
- Create high-quality maps, reports, and data visualizations to support decision-making processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate GIS data with other systems and workflows
- Manage GIS projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and quality results
- Stay current with emerging GIS technologies and industry best practices in road O&M
- Ensure data quality and accuracy through rigorous quality control processes
What do we need from you
- Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geomatics, Geography, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in GIS, with a focus on roads and infrastructure projects
- Advanced proficiency in GIS software such as ArcGIS and QGIS
- Demonstrated ability to design and manage spatial databases
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Willingness to work on-site in Doha, Qatar, and travel as required for project needs
