We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join our team in Doha, Qatar. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, ensuring accuracy in reporting, and providing strategic insights to drive business growth.
- Manage all aspects of financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Develop and maintain robust internal control systems to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, providing variance analysis and recommendations
- Oversee cash flow management and optimize working capital
- Collaborate with senior management to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making
- Implement and maintain financial systems and processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Develop and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor financial health and operational efficiency
- Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in financial controlling, preferably in a multinational environment
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and local accounting standards
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills
- Excellent financial modeling and analysis capabilities
- Demonstrated experience in implementing and improving financial processes and controls
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to interact effectively with all levels of management
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and analytical skills
- Proven track record of driving process improvements and implementing best practices
