About the Role

The Finance Applications PMO is responsible for overseeing governance, coordination, and delivery of group finance-related applications (ERP, EPM, and other tools). This role ensures that functional initiatives are aligned with Finance strategy, that application-related projects are executed effectively, and that cross-functional collaboration is seamless across teams and regions.

Key responsibilities:

Application Portfolio Coordination

  • Manage initiatives related to group finance applications: upgrades, enhancements, integrations
  • Structure and monitor timelines, budgets, deliverables, and project documentation
  • Ensure alignment between application initiatives and the Finance roadmap

Dependency & Resource Management

  • Identify and coordinate functional and technical dependencies across systems and modules
  • Work closely with IT, vendors, and business teams to ensure resource availability for planned activities
  • Anticipate bottlenecks and propose mitigation strategies to maintain delivery momentum

Cross-Functional Governance

  • Lead steering committees and governance forums for group finance systems
  • Facilitate communication between Finance, IT, and regional stakeholders
  • Consolidate functional needs and support prioritization of application-related changes

Documentation Oversight

  • Ensure traceability of decisions, actions, and deliverables across the application portfolio
  • Support the creation and maintenance of project documentation and reporting materials

 

 


What do we need from you

Your background?

  • Graduate of a business school, engineering school or equivalent in finance, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in international environments.

Your strengths? 

  • Proven experience in project controls in long-term project environments, such as the engineering, construction or industrial sectors.
  • Strong experience in project accounting and financial analysis.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience in financial modeling and data analysis.
  • Proficiency in BI tools or EPM systems is highly desired.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Business-oriented mindset with a collaborative and proactive approach.
  • Experience in process improvement and change management in complex organizations. Excellent organizational and planning skills.
  • Fluency in English and French (written and oral).
  • Curiosity and desire to stimulate innovation and improvements.
  • Resilience and adaptability in a dynamic global environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with cross-functional teams.
