Due to continued growth, we are seeking a motivated Façade Engineer to join our expanding Perth team and contribute to a diverse portfolio of projects.
In this role, you will contribute to the design and delivery of façade engineering solutions across a diverse range of projects. Working collaboratively with architects, builders, and clients, you’ll play a key part in transforming architectural visions into buildable, efficient, and sustainable designs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertaking the design, engineering and documentation for façade and build-ability consultancy inclusive of detailed engineering calculations, analysis, drawings, and specifications.
- Reviewing contractor submissions, show drawings and calculations.
- Façade engineering design and buildability consultancy, including material knowledge and installation techniques.
- Preparing tender submissions.
- Liaising and coordinating with the design/project team and other disciplines within Inhabit as required.
- Building relationships with clients on projects and develop contacts within the façade industry.
- A degree in Civil / Structural Engineering.
- 3-6 years of experience as a Facade Engineer.
- Understanding of façade systems, materials, and installation techniques.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes.
- A proactive, learning-oriented mindset and interest in sustainability and innovative design.
- Knowledge of relevant Australian standards and building codes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Eagerness to learn from experienced engineers and grow within a dynamic consultancy environment.
