About the Role
- Analyzes environmental aspects associated with infrastructure projects under development.
- Participates in the preparation of documentation required for obtaining environmental permits, approvals and authorizations.
- Prepares or contributes to the development of: project presentation reports, technical documentation for environmental permitting procedures, specialized environmental studies, environmental sections of technical design documentation.
- Identifies potential environmental impacts and proposes prevention, mitigation or compensation measures.
- Participates in the assessment of technical solutions from an environmental protection perspective.
- Provides technical support to design teams regarding applicable environmental requirements.
- Participates in site visits and field surveys to collect information required for the preparation of environmental documentation.
- Cooperates with environmental experts, consultants and competent authorities.
- Monitors compliance with the conditions established by permits, approvals and other regulatory documents issued by competent authorities.
- Prepares documentation for submission to relevant authorities.
- Participates in meetings and technical sessions with clients and permitting authorities.
- Responds to requests for clarifications and additional information issued by authorities.
- Follows up on the status of environmental permits and approvals.
- Monitors legislative changes in the field of environmental protection.
- Informs management and project teams about applicable legal requirements and obligations.
- Proposes compliance measures and internal process improvements.
- Prepares technical reports and activity updates related to assigned projects.
- Ensures the proper recording, filing and archiving of environmental documentation.
- Provides information, data and technical input required by management and clients.
What do we need from you
- Education: Technical degree in a relevant field;
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position;
- Computer skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications;
- English language proficiency;
- Strong communication skills, analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and teamwork spirit;
- Accuracy and integrity;
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D is considered an advantage;
- Ability to assume responsibilities and maintain confidentiality.
