About the Role

We are seeking talented individuals across all levels—from Graduate to Technical Director—to join our Environment, EIA & Consents team. Working within a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment, you will contribute to high-quality environmental assessments, planning strategies and regulatory submissions across a range of nationally significant and complex development programmes.

Mission

Our mission is to provide technical excellence, robust environmental governance, and strong client leadership across environmental assessment, planning and consenting. Across all levels, you will contribute to EIAs, consenting strategies, environmental risk identification, stakeholder engagement and sustainable development outcomes.

Graduate / Assistant Consultant

• Support EIA screening/scoping tasks and draft baseline sections.
• Assist environmental specialists with research, data collection and mapping.
• Contribute to Environmental Statement chapters under supervision.
• Participate in stakeholder engagement and project coordination.

Consultant

• Deliver defined EIA tasks or small work packages.
• Prepare sections of Environmental Statements and supporting reports.
• Coordinate technical inputs from environmental specialists.
• Support communication with clients, planning authorities and consultees.

Senior Consultant

• Lead medium-scale EIAs or major workstreams.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary environmental assessments.
• Lead technical drafting and review of ES chapters.
• Engage with stakeholders, regulators and project partners.
• Mentor junior colleagues and support capability growth.

Principal Consultant

• Lead major EIAs and shape consenting strategies.
• Provide senior-level assurance and technical direction.
• Manage stakeholder engagement, regulatory interface and risk mitigation.
• Oversee quality assurance, governance and integration of technical inputs.

Associate Director

• Direct major EIA portfolios and environmental planning programmes.
• Lead long-term consenting strategies for complex infrastructure.
• Oversee governance frameworks, risk management and environmental assurance.
• Support business development, bids and high-level client relationships.

Technical Director

• Provide national strategic leadership for EIA & Consents services.
• Drive capability development, innovation and market growth.
• Build senior-level client and regulator relationships.
• Oversee major bids, quality governance and high-risk project oversight.


What do we need from you

Relevant degree in environmental science, planning or related field.
• Chartered status desirable at Senior level and above.
• Increasing experience aligned to project scale and complexity.
• Strong analytical, communication and organisational skills.
