About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Engineer specializing in Wet Utilities to support a UK region-based infrastructure project. Based in our Bengaluru, India office, you will provide comprehensive engineering expertise for water supply, drainage, and sewage systems serving the UK market. This role requires a professional who can efficiently manage technical deliverables while maintaining organized project documentation and ensuring compliance with UK regulatory standards.

  • Design and analyze wet utilities systems including water supply, drainage, and sewage infrastructure for UK-based projects
  • Develop detailed technical drawings and specifications using CAD and BIM modeling software
  • Conduct hydraulic analysis and modeling to optimize system performance and efficiency
  • Prepare comprehensive project documentation, reports, and technical specifications in compliance with UK building codes and standards
  • Collaborate with project teams, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to ensure project requirements are met
  • Review and validate engineering designs for accuracy, feasibility, and adherence to project specifications
  • Provide technical support and guidance throughout the project lifecycle, from concept to implementation
  • Analyze project data and identify opportunities for process improvements and cost optimization
  • Maintain organized project records and ensure timely delivery of all technical deliverables
  • Communicate technical information clearly to both engineering and non-technical stakeholders

What do we need from you

  • 3-5+ years of professional experience in wet utilities engineering or related infrastructure projects
  • Proven experience working on UK-based projects with knowledge of UK building regulations and standards
  • Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD) and BIM modeling tools (Revit or equivalent)
  • Strong understanding of water supply systems, drainage systems, and sewage infrastructure design
  • Experience with hydraulic analysis and modeling software
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple project deliverables simultaneously
  • Proficiency in technical documentation and report writing
  • Knowledge of UK regulatory compliance and environmental standards related to water utilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement
  • Ability to work efficiently in a remote/offshore capacity supporting UK-based projects
  • Preferred: Experience with water management systems and sustainable utilities design
