About the Role
We're looking for a detail-oriented and innovative **Engineer - Electrical** to join our dynamic team in Bengaluru, India. In this role, you'll take ownership of electrical system design and implementation for building and infrastructure projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver safe, efficient, and compliant electrical solutions. - Design and develop power distribution layouts, single line diagrams (SLDs), and comprehensive electrical calculations including cable sizing, voltage drop analysis, and fault level studies
- Create detailed electrical drawings, specifications, and load calculations that meet project requirements and adhere to safety standards
- Support procurement activities by preparing technical datasheets, material requisitions, and conducting vendor reviews to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including MEP, structural, and architectural professionals to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems into overall project designs
- Conduct site inspections and supervise electrical installation work to verify adherence to design specifications and quality standards
- Ensure all designs comply with relevant industry standards (IEC/IEEE), local electrical codes, and safety regulations
- Provide technical support for site queries and actively participate in commissioning activities to ensure successful project delivery
- Contribute to project planning, scheduling, and budgeting efforts to support timely and cost-effective project completion
- Analyze and troubleshoot electrical system challenges, providing innovative solutions that enhance performance and reliability
What do we need from you
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 2-5 years of professional experience in electrical design and engineering for building or infrastructure projects
- Strong proficiency with industry-standard software tools such as ETAP, AutoCAD, or equivalent power system analysis and design platforms
- Solid knowledge of electrical standards and codes (IEC, IEEE) and their practical application in design
- Demonstrated expertise in power distribution systems, lighting design, and emergency electrical systems
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical challenges
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
- Proficiency in preparing technical documentation, drawings, and specifications
- Familiarity with site supervision and commissioning processes
- Knowledge of electrical safety practices and compliance requirements
- Project management fundamentals and ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently
- Preferred: Experience with power system studies, substation design, or industrial electrical systems
- Preferred: Certification in electrical safety or relevant professional credentials
