We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Energy for the Middle East South Asia region to develop and lead our energy business. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving growth in renewable energy, transmission and distribution, and green hydrogen sectors. This role requires strategic vision, leadership, and a deep understanding of the energy market in the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for the energy business in the Middle East South Asia region, focusing on renewable energy, transmission and distribution, and green hydrogen.
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, and expand EGIS’s market presence.
- Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of energy projects, ensuring they meet quality, budget, and timeline requirements.
- Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
- Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market analysis to stay ahead of industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape.
- Client Engagement: Engage with clients to understand their needs, provide tailored solutions, and ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
- Sustainability Focus: Promote sustainable practices and solutions within all projects, aligning with EGIS’s commitment to environmental stewardship.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in the energy sector.
- Leadership: Proven experience in a senior leadership role with a track record of successfully developing and managing energy businesses.
- Skills: Excellent strategic planning, business development, project management, and team leadership skills.
- Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Regional Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the energy market in the Middle East South Asia region, including regulatory environment and key players.
- Language: Proficiency in English is required. Knowledge of regional languages is an advantage.
