Peracon (Egis) is seeking a technically strong and client-focused Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic and growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for undertaking high-quality engineering studies, investigations, and designs within a commercially driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality electrical engineering designs and documentation for Power Transmission and Distribution (T&D) systems, including HV and LV networks, substations, switchyards, and associated infrastructure
• Manage project deliverables to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and to a high technical standard
• Engage directly with clients to understand their technical and commercial requirements, build trust, and provide sound, risk-aware engineering advice
• Support internal design reviews and verification processes to uphold Peracon’s quality assurance standards
• Undertake technical investigations, feasibility studies, and concept-to-detailed design for substations and network upgrades across utility, industrial, and infrastructure projects

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
• Strong technical background with experience in heavy industry sectors such as mining, processing, rail, or oil & gas OR within the Electrical Transmissions/Distribution industry
• Proficient in contract management and the commercial aspects of engineering projects
• Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality, timely outputs in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills
• Professional and collaborative approach, with strong stakeholder management skills.

Salary Banding: $80,000 - $90,000 + super
