We are looking for a detail-oriented and professional Electrical Engineer to join our team in Kuwait. In this role, you will oversee electrical installations, systems, and safety compliance on construction projects, ensuring all work meets established standards and specifications. You will serve as a technical leader on-site, coordinating with contractors, engineers, and project stakeholders to deliver high-quality electrical infrastructure while maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols and local building regulations.
- Supervise and inspect electrical installations, systems, and equipment throughout all phases of construction to ensure compliance with design specifications and building codes
- Analyze electrical drawings, blueprints, and technical documentation to verify accuracy and identify potential issues before implementation
- Coordinate with electrical contractors and subcontractors to schedule work, resolve technical challenges, and maintain project timelines
- Conduct regular site inspections and testing of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, fire safety systems, and emergency backup systems
- Document all electrical work, inspections, and test results, maintaining comprehensive project records and reports
- Identify and address safety hazards related to electrical work, ensuring all personnel follow established safety protocols and regulations
- Communicate technical findings and recommendations to project managers, architects, and other stakeholders in a clear and professional manner
- Troubleshoot electrical problems on-site and implement corrective actions to maintain project progress
- Ensure all electrical work complies with Kuwait building codes, international standards, and client specifications
- Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to coordinate electrical systems with mechanical, structural, and architectural components
- Maintain organized records of equipment certifications, warranties, and compliance documentation
- Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer with a minimum of 12 years in construction site management
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, installations, power distribution, and safety standards
- Proficiency with electrical design software and project management tools
- Comprehensive understanding of building codes, electrical standards, and safety regulations
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
- Experience with construction documentation, testing procedures, and compliance reporting
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to coordinate multiple teams
- Knowledge of risk management and safety compliance in construction environments
- Familiarity with Building Information Modeling (BIM) software
- Experience working on projects in the Middle East or with Middle Eastern building standards (preferred)
- Knowledge of Kuwait-specific building regulations and local construction practices (preferred)
- Professional certifications in electrical engineering or construction management (preferred)
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic construction environment
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
