About the Role
We are seeking a professional and reliable Driver - Light Duty to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating light-duty vehicles while transporting goods, documents, and personnel. You will play a key part in ensuring timely and secure deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to following all traffic regulations and company policies.
- Operate light-duty vehicles safely and efficiently while adhering to all UAE traffic laws and regulations
- Transport goods, documents, and personnel to designated locations in a timely manner
- Plan and optimize routes to ensure efficient delivery schedules and fuel economy
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues or damage
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness, organization, and proper documentation
- Ensure cargo is properly secured and handled according to company standards
- Communicate professionally with clients, supervisors, and team members
- Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery confirmations
- Follow company policies and safety protocols at all times
- Respond promptly to any vehicle-related concerns or emergencies
What do we need from you
- Valid UAE driver's license or internationally recognized transferable driver's license
- Minimum 2 years of proven driving experience with light-duty vehicles
- Clean driving record with no major traffic violations
- Comprehensive knowledge of UAE traffic laws, road signs, and regulations
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Professional communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic vehicle maintenance and inspection knowledge
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with GPS and navigation systems (preferred)
- Defensive driving training or certification (preferred)
- Customer service experience (preferred)
