About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draughtsman to join our dynamic team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a Draughtsman, you will play a crucial role in creating precise technical drawings and plans for various engineering and architectural projects. Your expertise will contribute to the successful execution of projects from concept to completion.
- Prepare detailed technical drawings, plans, and designs using CAD software
- Interpret engineering sketches, specifications, and calculations to create accurate drawings
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other team members to understand project requirements
- Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards, regulations, and client specifications
- Revise and update existing drawings as needed
- Maintain organized digital and physical files of all project-related drawings and documents
- Assist in creating 3D models and renderings for project visualization
- Participate in project meetings and contribute innovative ideas for design improvements
- Conduct research on materials, products, and construction methods to enhance drawing accuracy
- Support the quality control process by reviewing and verifying drawings for accuracy and completeness
What do we need from you
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Draughtsman
- Proficiency in CAD software, particularly AutoCAD and SolidWorks
- Strong technical drawing skills and ability to read and interpret technical specifications
- In-depth knowledge of engineering principles and practices
- Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy in work
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Efficient time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Relevant certifications in CAD software (preferred)
- Adaptability to learn new software and technologies as required
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
