About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Document Controller to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for managing and controlling all project-related documents, ensuring efficient information flow, and maintaining document integrity throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Implement and maintain document control procedures using Electronic Document Management (EDM) systems
  • Ensure all project documents are properly coded, filed, and easily retrievable
  • Coordinate the flow of documents between internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Monitor document revisions and maintain version control
  • Generate regular reports on document status and distribution
  • Assist in the development and implementation of document control best practices
  • Provide training and support to team members on document control procedures and EDM system usage
  • Ensure compliance with relevant document control standards and regulations
  • Collaborate with project managers and team members to streamline document management processes
  • Perform quality checks on documents to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Manage document archives and maintain proper retention schedules

What do we need from you

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Engineering, or related field
  • Proven experience with Electronic Document Management systems, particularly ACONEX
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Fluency in Arabic and English (written and spoken)
  • Understanding of construction project management processes and terminology
  • Knowledge of document control best practices and standards
  • Familiarity with project lifecycle documentation
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Certification in document control or information management is a plus
