About the Role

  • Develop and implement document control procedures
  • Create and maintain comprehensive document control procedures, including naming conventions, version control, and document lifecycle management.
  • Manage electronic document management systems (EDMS)
  • Oversee the implementation and operation of the company's EDMS, ensuring proper document access, security, and data integrity
  • Monitor document flow by tracking the movement of project documents from creation to final approval, including routing, review, and distribution processes
  • Perform quality checks by reviewing documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project specifications and standards.
  • Train and mentor team members document control procedures, EDMS usage, and best practices.
  • Conduct document audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with established standards.
  • Prepare reports on document status, compliance issues, and key performance indicators for project management.
  • Work closely with project teams, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate document management.
  • Identify and address any problems related to document access, version control, or filing discrepancies.

  • Strong understanding of document control principles and best practices
  • Proficiency in electronic document management systems (EDMS)
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Detail-oriented with high accuracy standards
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams
  • Experience in project management or related field
  • Ability to lead and mentor a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
