About the Role

Why this role matters ?

Egis is moving fast: international growth, corporate and systems transformations are reshaping the way we operate. To support this journey, we are building a tax function that is global, modern, and efficient. A real business partner to the Group.

As Corporate Tax Director, you will be at the heart of this transformation. You will work closely with the Group Head of Tax as a senior partner, helping him design or enhance and execute the Group tax roadmap.

It is about stepping into the leadership journey of the function: developing the ability to steer, influence, and deliver in a complex multinational environment. You will not directly manage a large team, but you will lead through projects, align diverse stakeholders, and partner with regional tax leaders across the Group to achieve shared objectives.

What you will do :

  • Shape transformation. Drive key global projects (operating model transformation, compliance framework, ERP migration, global tax governance overhaul) that will modernise and elevate the function. Partner with the Group Head of Tax and the rest of team to leverage the use of tax technology, dashboards, and data to make the function transparent, efficient, and modern.

  • Deliver compliance at scale. Anticipate and implement upcoming Group level critical obligations (Pillar 2, CBCR, DAC6, e-invoicing roadmaps).

  • Bring clarity to the numbers. Strengthen ETR management, deferred tax recognition, and cash tax forecasting. Build, with the team clear and reliable narratives.

  • Enable strategic moves. Support cross-regional M&A and restructuring, corporate integration processes, financing and dividend flows, and corporate simplification initiatives.

  • Influence and connect. Work daily with regional tax leads, finance (FP&A, Consolidation & Accounting, Treasury…), and business stakeholders. Build bridges across the organisation, guide execution, and provide a 360° view to the Head of Tax.

What do we need from you

Who we are looking for ?

  • 10–15 years’ international tax experience, gained in multinationals and law firms.

  • Exposure to transformation environments (ERP rollouts, LBO/IPO/integration preparation, complex reorganisations). You bring a growth mindset and thrive in dynamic settings, where multiple pieces of the puzzle are shifting at the same time.

  • Solid technical base in M&A structuring, transfer pricing, project management, and international taxation (both corporate and operational).

  • Strong communication skills.

  • Curious, hands-on, and eager to learn what leadership looks like in practice. Being a team player is not optional, we are building "One Team" where when one of us loses, we all lose. When one of us wins, we all win.

  • Based in Paris; fluent in English.
