About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Contracts Manager (Roads O&M) to join our team in Doha, Qatar. In this critical role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of contract management related to roads operations and maintenance projects.

  • Develop, negotiate, and manage complex contracts for roads operations and maintenance projects
  • Analyze financial implications of contract terms and conditions to minimize risks and maximize profitability
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including project managers, legal teams, and finance departments, to ensure contract compliance
  • Monitor contract performance, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed
  • Lead contract negotiations with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
  • Develop and maintain contract management processes and procedures
  • Prepare and present regular reports on contract status, risks, and opportunities to senior management
  • Ensure compliance with local and international regulations governing road infrastructure projects
  • Collaborate with project teams to resolve contractual disputes and claims
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in contract management for roads operations and maintenance

What do we need from you

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in contract management, preferably in roads operations and maintenance
  • Proven experience with government contracts and regulations
  • Strong knowledge of roads operations and maintenance practices
  • Familiarity with construction and infrastructure industry standards
  • Solid understanding of local and international contract law
  • Excellent contract management skills, including drafting, negotiation, and administration
  • Proficiency in financial analysis and risk assessment
  • Strong project management abilities
  • Advanced negotiation and conflict resolution skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and contract management software
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment
  • Willingness to travel within Qatar as required
