We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Contract Manager to join our dynamic team in AlUla, Saudi Arabia. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing the complete contract lifecycle, from development and negotiation through administration and compliance monitoring. You will work collaboratively with internal stakeholders, vendors, and partners to ensure all contractual obligations are met while protecting organizational interests and driving project success. - Develop, review, and negotiate complex contracts with clients, vendors, and partners, ensuring favorable terms and transparent agreements
- Administer contracts throughout the entire project lifecycle, ensuring strict compliance with contractual obligations, company procedures, and applicable regulations
- Monitor contract performance and compliance, proactively identifying and resolving discrepancies and potential issues
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and develop effective mitigation strategies for contract-related risks
- Support claims management activities, including claim preparation, evaluation, negotiation, and resolution with professionalism and transparency
- Analyze and interpret contract terms and conditions to safeguard organizational interests and ensure clear understanding across all parties
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Department Managers, and other internal stakeholders to gather requirements and address contractual challenges
- Prepare, organize, and maintain comprehensive contract documentation and records for easy retrieval and audit purposes
- Develop and implement efficient contract management processes and best practices to enhance organizational effectiveness
- Assist in the resolution of contract disputes and claims through decisive and empathetic negotiation
- Participate actively in tender phases by providing strategic input during offer preparation and evaluation
- Support financial reviews and risk quantification activities alongside Project Managers to ensure project viability
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in contract management or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of contract law, commercial practices, and risk management principles
- Extensive experience with FIDIC Conditions of Contract, HG1, or similar standard contract frameworks
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail
- Proven negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Experience in claims management and contract dispute resolution
- Proficiency in contract documentation, record-keeping, and compliance monitoring
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build effective relationships with vendors, partners, and internal stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in infrastructure, construction, or project-based industries
- Familiarity with contract management software and digital tools
- Background in financial analysis or budget management
- Professional certifications in contract management or law
- Experience developing and implementing contract management processes and best practices
