About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Contract Formation Engineer to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, negotiating, and managing complex contracts for engineering projects, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and company policies.

  • Draft, review, and negotiate engineering contracts, subcontracts, and related agreements
  • Analyse and mitigate contractual risks, ensuring protection of company interests
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including legal, finance, and project teams, to develop effective contract strategies
  • Ensure compliance with local and international regulations, as well as industry standards
  • Manage the contract lifecycle, from initiation to closeout, using contract management software
  • Provide guidance and support to project teams on contractual matters
  • Develop and maintain contract templates and standardised clauses
  • Conduct regular contract audits and performance reviews
  • Assist in resolving contractual disputes and claims
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in contract law and industry best practices

What do we need from you

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in contract formation and management.
  • Professional certification in Contract Management (e.g., IACCM) is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of contract law, engineering principles, and Saudi Arabian business regulations
  • Excellent contract drafting and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in risk assessment and mitigation techniques
  • Advanced project management abilities
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with contract management software
  • Analytical mindset with keen attention to detail
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Fluency in English
