About the Role

  • Support program management, project management, and other project management office duties.
  • Facilitate the management of project interfaces, processes and procedures.
  • Monitor and report regularly on the CMO’s performance against the client’s yearly budgeted expenditure including any actions/mitigations to be taken.
  • Ensuring continual compliance with overall project delivery strategies.
  • Assist the CMD with managing and communicating changes in project scope to the CMO.
  • Monitor and report on the CMO’s performance in accordance with their contracted services and their duties agreed under the responsibility matrix.
  • Ensure continual compliance with program procedures and agreed on reporting systems.
  • Review and report on the financial status, expenditure and performance of the construction projects across the program.
  • Early identification of strategy or procedural deficiencies/inefficiencies and develop corrective actions accordingly.
  • Evaluate Construction Progress & Schedules for each package and taking necessary actions with relevant parties including recommending appropriate actions to be taken by the CMD.
  • Monitor project performance in key areas and propose corrective action where necessary (safety management, financial management, risk assessment, risk management).
  • Monitor, track, and control outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies, and critical path deliverables.
  • Manage and support the TMO (Tree Management Office) to ensure the softscape (trees, shrubs and ground cover) KPI’s are achieved.
  • Ensure perceived project risks are communicated to the CMD.
  • Assist with project co-ordination during the DLP including the transfer of the works to the FMO for the O&M to commence.
  • Assist the Procurement Team with Technical Bid evaluations.
  • A team player that develops working relationships with the client, consultants and colleagues.
  • Work analytically and creatively using teamwork, innovation, and excellence to solve problems.
  • Ensuring that the CM Departments KPI’s are achieved.
  • Assist the CMD to manage all aspects of related projects to ensure alignment and objectives of the Green Riyadh overall program. Facilitate and lead regular construction co-ordination team meetings with CMO, DMO, TMO & FMO.
  • Provide general oversight of the CMO, ensuring compliance with program deliverables. Report on project status, progress, metrics, risks, and deployment activities across all program’s wide construction projects Review Weekly & Monthly Reports received from the CMO and TMO.
  • Assist the CMD with preparing all reports e.g. Weekly and Monthly Progress Reports, formal presentations for the client’s senior management and progress meetings. Initiate and chair regular meetings and workshops required to co-ordinate and facilitate flow of information and actions between the CMO and DMO teams.

What do we need from you

  • Requires widely diversified knowledge of construction-related processes and industry practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills with a fluent proficiency in English.
  • Demonstrate effective managerial capability on construction projects of comparable scope and complexity is also required, as well as excellent written and oral communications skills (particularly in formal presentations to clients and upper management).
