Construction Director

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Construction Director to join our Project Management Company (PMC) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will lead and oversee mixed-use development projects, ensuring their successful execution from inception to completion.

• Provide strategic leadership and direction for multiple mixed-use construction projects
• Develop and implement project management plans, schedules, and budgets
• Oversee and coordinate activities of project teams, subcontractors, and consultants
• Manage project risks and develop mitigation strategies
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including clients, government officials, and community representatives
• Implement and maintain quality control processes throughout project lifecycles
• Analyze project performance and provide regular reports to senior management
• Drive innovation and sustainable construction practices in project execution
• Mentor and develop project team members to enhance overall capabilities

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; Master's degree preferred
• Minimum 15 years of experience in construction management, with a focus on mixed-use development projects
• Proven experience working in the Middle East, preferably in Saudi Arabia
• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification required
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices
• Expertise in budget management, risk management, and contract administration
• Proficiency in project management software and Building Information Modeling (BIM)
• In-depth understanding of local building codes and regulations in Saudi Arabia
• Experience with sustainable construction practices and LEED certification processes
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to make decisive decisions in high-pressure situations
• Fluency in English; Arabic language skills highly desirable
