We are seeking an experienced and visionary Construction Director to join our Project Management Company (PMC) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will lead and oversee mixed-use development projects, ensuring their successful execution from inception to completion.
- Provide strategic leadership and direction for multiple mixed-use construction projects
- Develop and implement project management plans, schedules, and budgets
- Oversee and coordinate activities of project teams, subcontractors, and consultants
- Manage project risks and develop mitigation strategies
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including clients, government officials, and community representatives
- Implement and maintain quality control processes throughout project lifecycles
- Analyze project performance and provide regular reports to senior management
- Drive innovation and sustainable construction practices in project execution
- Mentor and develop project team members to enhance overall capabilities
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; Master's degree preferred
- Minimum 15 years of experience in construction management, with a focus on mixed-use development projects
- Proven experience working in the Middle East, preferably in Saudi Arabia
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification required
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices
- Expertise in budget management, risk management, and contract administration
- Proficiency in project management software and Building Information Modeling (BIM)
- In-depth understanding of local building codes and regulations in Saudi Arabia
- Experience with sustainable construction practices and LEED certification processes
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to make decisive decisions in high-pressure situations
- Fluency in English; Arabic language skills highly desirable
