ERTO serves as the contractor, responsible for delivering comprehensive services including routine and preventive maintenance, asset renewals, and upgrades, in alignment with health, safety, and environmental standards. ERTO plays a key role in coordinating with stakeholders, ensuring compliance with ISO-certified management systems, managing risks, optimizing asset performance, and implementing sustainability initiatives to reduce the environmental impact of operations. Additionally, ERTO oversees the safety documentation, change control processes, and ensures that all activities align with Transport Infrastructure Ireland’s (TII) goals for efficiency, resilience, and sustainability.
We are in the Dublin Tunnel Control Building on East Wall Road, Dublin 3. The position requires compliance with ethical codes, internal rules, local regulations, and health and safety rules for Egis Road and Tunnel Operation activities. This site is secure and offers parking.
The Control Room Administrator will be part of a team that monitors the motorway network, responding to incidents and being part of a communications hub for all stakeholders. The Motorway Operations Control Centre actively monitors the national motorway network through a wide range of CCTV systems as well as traffic management and incident response systems.
The role includes responsibility for administrative duties for the Motorway Operations Control Centre. This includes, but is not limited to, minor accident and incident responses for the National Road Network and call handling from our state-of-the-art control centre in Dublin City Centre.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Handling communication from members of the public and responding in a professional manner.
- Handling inbound calls and processing all information received to distribute to relevant stakeholders.
- Professional communication including the use of social media, updating relevant websites and managing the Twitter account.
- Using multiple internal systems to log and track incidents.
- 1-2 years call centre/sales/customer service experience.
- 1-2 years administration experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook (essential).
- Leaving Certificate.
